Running three times weekly, the Jasper Prince Rupert train connects the coastal town of Prince Rupert to the inland town of Jasper. Passengers are treated to views of the Jasper National Park and the rugged Canadian Rockies, the hauntingly beautiful Pacific Coast, and the rustic settlements, farms and sawmills dotting the lake-studded landscape.
In Comfort Class, one can buy food from the food cart. However, in Economy Class, passengers are advised to bring their own food. There is a microwave and hot water facilities available.
There is a carriage with a glass roof for a 360-panoramic viewing experience to enjoy the passing country side in style.
The train overnights in Prince George before continuing on the expedition the next day.
