Intercity routes cover major cities and towns, commuter rail and DART service around Dublin city and suburbs. Most stations and trains are wheelchair accessible, just check in advance. Wi-Fi access limited but improving.
Bicycles are allowed on commuter and dart services. All intercity trains have bicycle carriage facilities, you can reserve your bike online and a small fee is charged.
Reserve your ticket up to 28 days in advance. Intercity passengers should arrive at the station 15 minutes in advance.

Children under 5 are free when accompanied by a full fee paying adult. Children aged 5-15 years get a discount on their ticket. Seniors living permanently in Ireland aged 66 and over are entitled to avail of free travel.
