Australind Travels between Perth and Bunbury. Takes 2.5 hours, travels a distance of 180km. Runs everyday, except on Sundays
Avonlink and Merredinlink; Long-distance commuter rail service. Connects the Avon Valley–Toodyday-Northam regions together. Avonlink runs twice daily, from Monday to Friday. Takes 1 hour and 20 minutes.
Merredinlink runs additional services to smaller rural towns, including Cunderdin, Kellerberrin, Merredin and Tamin. Operates on Mondays, Wednesday and Friday. Connections with Prospector and Australind train services
Prospector travels between Perth, Merredin and Kalgoorlie. Most modern and fastest rail service in Western Australia, travel. Operates over a distance of 655 kilometres, taking just 6 hours and 45 minutes. Departs twice daily between Monday to Friday from both directions. Connects with the Australind and Avonlink/ Merredinlink train service
Ticket Types & Discounts
Kids between the ages of 5-15 receive 50% off on all Transwa services. Full time high school students receive the same as kids. Full time tertiary students receive 50% concession, if they are a holder of a Smart Rider card. Oz Health Care Card holders can avail of a 50% concession. VIP Bag packers and Youth Hostel Association Card holders receive 10% off. Individuals Vision Impairment pass have unlimited free travel. Western Australian Pension and Senior SmartRider Card Holders get a 50% concession. Western Veteran SmartRider Card Holder gain 50% off. Companion Card issued by National Disability Services for attendants travel free
